5th August 2000 - 14th March 2005

After having laid dormant for almost three years, SMP is finally closing. I didn't have the heart to close it completely while I was still getting quite a lot of visitors, but I'm getting hardly any response from it these days and, what with me going off to Uni this year, it feels like a good time to make the final cut. I've deleted the site on my server and got rid of my SMP e-mail address; eventually, this page will go, too.

So...yeah. Opal and I are officially retiring from the Petz Community. It was great while it lasted - I learned a lot from having the site, and Opal got more than his fair share of treats for being such a cute mascot. ^_^

SMP was the first site I ever published, and I'm proud of how well it did. A big thank you to all of my visitors, who made it all worthwhile. Special thanks to those who expressed their concerns when I first let the site stagnate, and also to those who e-mailed me with kind remarks even when SMP was pretty much dead. It was great knowing that, even though some of the information was getting out of date, people were still interested in my site. Now, may it rest in peace. ~ Annette ~
